ABOUT SHARON

TV Animation, Hanna-Barbera Cartoons, PMMP Animation (Paris), Imagistic Digital, Ruby-Spears Animation, Saltzman Public Relations, Learning Curve Toys and Shari Lewis & Lamp Chop, among others. My roles have included creative development director, associate producer, strategic consultant and, in addition, writer-editor and designer-illustrator. Throughout my career, I have directed teams of writers and artists through all phases of children’s story and character development. Now I write, illustrate and digitally design under my own banner, Playfully Posh Pixels. I love sharing my content creation expertise with children’s product companies, small businesses, non-profits, schools and with individuals. MY FAMILY LIFE IS

what matters most to me. My life as mom to these two boys is what brings me joy, keeps me caring, and challenges me to work hard and with purpose. Luckily, my being artsy-fartsy, young-at-heart and slightly zany serves to make me a better mom, a better wife and a better creator at Playfully Posh Pixels!

Here I am with my family in Jaipur - Rajasthan, India.

I grew up in Beverly Hills, California. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University, with a dual degree in Cultural Anthropology and French. I lived and worked in Paris for seven years. I’m fluent in French and conversant in Spanish (with a sprinkling of Italian, Hebrew, and Arabic too).

Some places I have traveled: India, Israel, Cambodia, Morocco, Russia, China, Norway, Vietnam, Spain, Wales, Thailand, Mexico, Tunisia, Scotland, Portugal, Andorra, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, and all over France. I take pride in weaving all of these cultural influences into my creative thinking and my work.
